Football Recap: Principia/Whitfield Piles Up the Points Against Priory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Principia/Whitfield). They blew past the Priory Ravens, posting a 68-33 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Principia/Whitfield needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Principia/Whitfield's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Priory, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Principia/Whitfield will host Lutheran South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Priory, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Freeburg at 1:00 p.m.
