            Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association won the last time they faced HCYA and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Patriots had just enough and edged out HCYA  8-6.
 Pierson GOODMAN made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association let  Josiah PULLING and  Collin FELTS run wild. PULLING  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  RBI, while  FELTS  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keegan HAGER, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-7-1 record  this season.
