Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smithson Valley). They never let the Wagner Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. The result kept the Rangers happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 11th.

Smithson Valley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine matchups. Wagner is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19-2.

Looking ahead, Smithson Valley will head out on the road to challenge Tivy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wagner, they will host Boerne-Champion at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
