Volleyball Recap: Sierra Canyon Beats Harvard-Westlake for Their 13th Straight Win

Sierra Canyon waltzed into their match on Thursday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They put the hurt on the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win. The Trailblazers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Sierra Canyon never let Harvard-Westlake on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 26-24.

Hanna McGinest paced Sierra Canyon's offense, picking up 16 kills. McGinest got some help from Olive Shum and her 30 assists.

Sierra Canyon's record now sits at 35-3. As for Harvard-Westlake, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7.
