Soccer Recap: Clark Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Clark proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Brandeis Broncos 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Cougars were the better team in the second half.

They hit Brandeis with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leona King, Maddy Segars, and Brinley Jenkins.

The victory was the third in a row for Clark, bringing their record for this year to 11-4. As for Brandeis, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season.

Clark will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against SA Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. Clark is facing SA Roosevelt at the right time seeing as SA Roosevelt is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Brandeis, they will venture away from home to challenge Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brandeis will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Madison will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
