Volleyball Game Preview: Winnebago Indians vs. Rock Falls Rockets

Winnebago is 0-10 against Rock Falls since October of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Winnebago turned things around against North Boone on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings.

Winnebago never let North Boone on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Rock Falls posted their closest win since September 13th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Stillman Valley, sneaking past 2-1.

In the two sets Rock Falls was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-14, 25-12.

Rock Falls' victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Winnebago, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-15-1.
