Preview: Parowan Rams vs. South Sevier Rams
The Parowan Rams will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the South Sevier Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Parowan earned a 38-25 victory over Providence Hall. The win was just what Parowan needed coming off of a 56-12 loss in their prior contest.
Bella Robinson was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with five steals. That makes it 21 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Parowan's points.
Meanwhile, South Sevier faced Beaver in a battle between two of the state's top teams. South Sevier narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Beaver 59-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Parowan's win bumped their record up to 3-18. As for South Sevier, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.
Parowan took a serious blow against South Sevier in their previous matchup back in January, falling 78-39. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of South Sevier's Kinley Jenson, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. Now that Parowan knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
