Football Game Preview: Cabot Panthers vs. North Little Rock Charging Wildcats

The Cabot Panthers will face off against the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Little Rock took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cabot, who comes in off a win.

Cabot will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up three points last Friday, then bounced right back against Central on Friday. The Panthers took down the Tigers 42-28. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, North Little Rock faced Bryant in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Charging Wildcats took a blow against the Hornets, falling 38-7. The Charging Wildcats were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the three contests prior), but the Hornets' defense proved too tough.

North Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cabot, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-6.

Everything came up roses for Cabot against North Little Rock in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-3 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Charging Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
