Baseball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Comes Up Short

The Trinity Lutheran Cougars came up short against the Columbus East Olympians on Saturday and fell 7-4. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Lutheran saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bode Brooks, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Trinity Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Columbus East, their record is now 5-8.

Looking ahead, Trinity Lutheran will challenge Hauser at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbus East, they will face off against Brownstown Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Olympians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
