Volleyball Recap: Benton Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Conway, Benton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bryant Hornets by a score of 3-1. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 25-17.

The victory got Benton back to even at 1-1. As for Bryant, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Benton and Sheridan will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bryant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Baptist Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
