Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Home Wins for Delhi

Delhi entered their tilt with St. Frederick on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 49-45 W against the St. Frederick Warriors. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 66-57 win two weeks ago.

Delhi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jay Wright, who posted ten points along with five assists and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Wright a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Dustin D Ykes was another key player, going 6 for 11 to rack up 12 points and five rebounds.

Delhi smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.
