Volleyball Recap: Southwest SD Finds Home Court Redemption Against Olympian

There's no place like home for Southwest SD, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Olympian Eagles 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Southwest SD has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Olympian and nudges their season record down to 5-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest SD will venture away from home to take on San Diego Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Olympian, they will take on Sweetwater at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sweetwater will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Olympian surely won't give up without a fight.
