Volleyball Recap: Chavez Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chavez lost against Arleta on September 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since September 11th.

While Chavez ultimately came up short, they really made Arleta work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Chavez and nudges their season record down to 7-10. As for Arleta, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chavez is set to take on their familiar foe Poly at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Arleta will face off against rival North Hollywood at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
