Baseball Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Boiling Springs lost against Shippensburg back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bubblers fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 5-4.

Mason Labuda made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Shippensburg, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4-1 and their overall record up to 2-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boiling Springs will face off against rival Big Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shippensburg is set to square off against their familiar foe Northern York at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
