Basketball Recap: Freedom Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Freedom had lost three straight headed into Monday's match, but Adam Negede didn't let it get to four. The Freedom Patriots were the clear victor by an 87-67 margin over the North Kissimmee Christian Lions on Monday thanks in part to Negede, who almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Riccardo Palombarini, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played.

Freedom's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. As for North Kissimmee Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Freedom has already played their next game, a 67-63 defeat against Lake Buena Vista on the 15th. North Kissimmee Christian has also already played their next contest (against Christian Learning Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
