Recap: Woodson Warriors vs. Ballou Knights
The Woodson Warriors and the Ballou Knights squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Woodson Warriors had to settle for second. Woodson fell 13-6 to Ballou. Woodson's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Dallas Allen-Hall threw for 120 yards and a touchdown. Demond Rush jr was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards. On the ground, William Simmons rushed for 45 yards.
Woodson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Ballou, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.
Woodson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ballou will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dunbar at 7:00 p.m. on November 23rd. One thing working in Dunbar's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last seven matches.
