Volleyball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Jefferson Area Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat last Thursday.

Jordyn Osborne paced Madison's offense, picking up six kills. Osborne got some help from Kami Titman and her 17 assists. Finally, Osborne was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Jefferson Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Madison has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Edgewood on the 7th. As for Jefferson Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Geneva on the 6th.
