Volleyball Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Loss

Calhoun County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chattahoochee County Panthers. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Chattahoochee County, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, Calhoun County and Chattahoochee County will both be playing Taylor County the next time they take the court. The Cougars will host the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
