Basketball Recap: Harrison Central Comes Up Short

Harrison Central pushed their score to 50 the last time they played Union Local, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. The Harrison Central Huskies took a hard 40-23 fall against the Union Local Jets. The game marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Union Local's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dre Saunders, who went 8 of 14 en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Brody Gregor, who posted four points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Harrison Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Union Local, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Harrison Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-36 loss against Carrollton on the 28th. Union Local has also already played their next matchup, a 71-53 victory against Barnesville on the 28th.
