Bucksport and Orono are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Golden Bucks will take on the Riots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bucksport has given up an average of 34.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Orono entered their tilt with Washington Academy on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 28-21.

Orono's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bucksport, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Bucksport took a serious blow against Orono when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 48-20. Can the Golden Bucks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
