Recap: Jimtown Jimmies vs. South Bend Washington Panthers

The Jimtown Jimmies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by South Bend Washington 66-32. Jimtown has not had much luck with South Bend Washington recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Several Jimmies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natalie Butler, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Abbey Brown, who scored four points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Kira Reynolds continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for South Bend Washington, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. Reynolds hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for ten straight games. Ryiah Wilson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine steals.

Jimtown has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for South Bend Washington, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Jimtown will take on Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Bend Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
