            Basketball Recap: Hagerty Huskies vs. Mainland Buccaneers        
        
		
        
        
            The Hagerty Huskies came up short against  the Mainland Buccaneers on Monday, falling  61-41. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies have lost by  exactly 20  points.
 Hagerty lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Jarianna Fletcher, who  posted eight points, to go along with five  rebounds and four  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isabel Lindauer, who  put up ten points.
 Mainland got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Shilah-Rayn Lord out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 25  points and 11  boards. Lord is also crushing it when it comes to  steals: she's   grabbed at least three every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Natalie Williams, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 13  rebounds.
Hagerty's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mainland, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Hagerty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  60-22  defeat against Lake Mary on the 3rd. As for Mainland, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  67-44  loss against Central Florida Christian Academy on the 5th.
