Soccer Recap: Virginia High Takes a Loss

Virginia High was the 2-1 winner over Lebanon when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers on Monday. Virginia High have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Lucy Foy, who's now up to five this season.

Virginia High's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Lebanon, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.

Lebanon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Tazewell on the 20th. Hopefully Virginia High paid attention to the Pioneers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pioneers at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
