After losing to Amherst Central the last time they met, Hamburg decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 7-2 on Wednesday. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Hamburg got a great performance from Kohl Schaefer as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jonah Moscato, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those doubles marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Max Rudnicki, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Hamburg now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Amherst Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
