Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Kenny vs. Rickards

The Bishop Kenny Crusaders will challenge the Rickards Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bishop Kenny is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Bishop Kenny who was credited with the win. Bishop Kenny got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Menendez's two. The victory was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on three straight.

Rickards is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering West Florida just ended the team's three-game winning streak last Saturday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Jaguars are ranked 80th).

Rickards' loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Bishop Kenny, their win bumped their record up to 10-5-2.
