Madison is a perfect 4-0 against Shelbyville since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cubs will head out to face off against the Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. Madison is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

On Tuesday, Madison got the win against New Albany by a conclusive 3-0.

Madison was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Shelbyville came up short against Columbus East on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Golden Bears have struggled against the Olympians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-18.

Shelbyville's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Madison beat Shelbyville 3-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
