It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Notre Dame Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Central Catholic Fighting Irish 60-22. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 24 points or more this season.

Notre Dame Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points over those games. Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Academy will challenge Ashland at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ashland will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Notre Dame Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
