Preview: Sioux City North vs. Jefferson
On Friday, Sioux City North are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Jefferson at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Sioux City North took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Lincoln last Friday as they made off with a 47-20 win. Sioux City North was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Jefferson couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-34 punch to the gut against Sioux City West last week.
Sioux City North's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Jefferson's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Sioux City North can add another positive mark to their record or if Jefferson can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Sioux City North's step.
