Soccer Recap: Austin Catholic Takes a Loss

Austin Catholic lost against Academy of the Sacred Heart back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Gazelles by a score of 2-1. Austin Catholic just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Austin Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Academy of the Sacred Heart, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7-1 record this season.

Austin Catholic is taking a road trip to challenge Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy of the Sacred Heart, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Foley at 4:30 p.m. on the 19th.
