Softball Game Preview: Tekonsha Indians vs. Bellevue Broncos

Tekonsha is 0-4 against Bellevue since May of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Indians will host the Broncos at 5:00 p.m. Bellevue took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tekonsha, who comes in off a win.

Tekonsha's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Waldron. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Marea Hale and Allison Shaffer did most of the damage at the plate: Hale went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Shaffer got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Giles-Wyn, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

Meanwhile, Bellevue lost 19-2 to Webberville on Saturday.
