            Volleyball Recap: Ironwood Eagles vs. Horizon Huskies        
        
		
        
        
            Ironwood was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  2-0 to the Horizon Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in August.
 Malaya Gibbs paced Ironwood's offense, picking up four kills. Gibbs got some help from  Ashley Logan and her 14 assists.  Kalia Soza controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Ironwood's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Horizon, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.
 Ironwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  win against Boulder Creek on the 10th. As for Horizon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  victory against Sunnyslope on the 10th.
