Basketball Recap: Andover Central Gets the Win

Andover Central picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-51 victory over the Dodge City Demons.

Jace Jefferson went supernova for Andover Central, going 7 of 14 en route to 18 points and seven boards. Those 18 points gave Jefferson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jayden Brown, who posted 12 points.

Andover Central's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Dodge City, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andover Central will head out to square off against Maize at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Andover Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.7 points per game this season. As for Dodge City, they will square off against Alva at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
