The Waunakee Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Waunakee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Waunakee came out on top against Onalaska on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run third inning. The Warriors never let the Hilltoppers get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

The team relied heavily on Audra Ubersox, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Madelyn Hughes was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Waunakee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Onalaska only posted a batting average of .067.

Meanwhile, Kaukauna was able to grind out a solid victory over Neenah on Thursday, taking the game 6-1.

Waunakee's record is now 6-1. As for Kaukauna, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5.
