The United Golden Eagles will challenge the Beaver Local Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
United is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Southern get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won seven in a row.
Kadin Schonauer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, United got a massive performance out of Cavan Jackson, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Jackson a new career-high. Quentin Taylor was another key player, going 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
United kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southern only managed one hit.
Meanwhile, Beaver Local came into Wednesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past East Liverpool 8-1 on Wednesday. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Beavers this season.
Like United, Beaver Local also got a great game from a two-way player: Paxton Grimes. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Grimes also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Beaver Local is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 0-12 otherwise. Grimes was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Logan Roberts was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
United's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Beaver Local, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.
United skirted past Beaver Local 5-3 in their previous matchup back in April. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
