Meanwhile, Scripps Ranch didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Westview on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 44-40 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Mira Mesa, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Mira Mesa lost to Scripps Ranch on the road by a decisive 63-45 margin in their previous meeting back in January.
