Softball Recap: Kelso Beats White River for Their Third Straight Win

Kelso waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the White River Hornets.

Kylie Killett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hannah Currence was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Bailey Clark also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Kelso's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for White River, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

As of now, neither Kelso nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
