Baseball Recap: Roscommon Takes a Loss

Roscommon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Manton Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 on Friday.

Mason Borchers made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Jackson Ziebell was another key player, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Roscommon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Manton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Roscommon will face off against McBain at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Manton, they will host Pine River Area at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
