Volleyball Recap: Penney Takes a Loss

Penney lost against Brookfield two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Hornets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldogs since Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-12.

Penney dropped their record down to 2-18 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Brookfield, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-12.

Looking ahead, Penney will take on Lathrop at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookfield, they will face off against Mexico at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
