It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Tallahatchie had no problem doing just that on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 62-26 victory over the Salem Wildcats. The Choctaws' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading West Tallahatchie to victory were Mi'Kenzi Christian and Kydresha Washington. Christian dropped a double-double with 30 points and 11 boards, while Washington posted 16 points and six steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Christian has scored at least a third of West Tallahatchie's points. Another player making a difference was Kyneesha Washington, who had four points and three steals.

West Tallahatchie has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Salem, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
