Football Game Preview: Simeon Wolverines vs. Goode STEM Academy Knights + Official Tickets

The Simeon Wolverines will head out to face off against the Goode STEM Academy Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Simeon is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Morgan Park on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Wolverines came up short against the Mustangs, falling 26-6. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goode STEM Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Lindblom 62-34. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Simeon better keep an eye on Aedan Cleveland. He was instrumental in Goode STEM Academy's win, rushing for 255 yards and four scores on only ten carries. Cleveland's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.

Goode STEM Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 503 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Simeon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Goode STEM Academy, their record is now 7-2.
