Softball Recap: Union Farmers vs. Kent Place Dragons
Union's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Kent Place Dragons. The victory continues a trend for the Farmers in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.
Alessandra Silvestre made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off seven hits. Silvestre was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
