Recap: Ramsey Rams vs. Martinsville Bluestreaks
The Ramsey Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Martinsville. Ramsey has not had much luck with Martinsville recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Adam Parcel, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and four steals for Martinsville. That's the first time this season that Parcel grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Herrrera, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Ramsey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Martinsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-14 record this season.
Ramsey will be playing in front of their home fans against Central A & M at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central A & M is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Martinsville, they will head out on the road to take on Sandoval at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Sandoval is ranked 658th, while Martinsville is ranked 657th).
