The Saint Francis Catholic Wolves will square off against the Riverside Christian Wranglers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Francis Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
Saint Francis Catholic took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Wildwood get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jake Long looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, Saint Francis Catholic got a massive performance out of Andy Janelle, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Those stolen bases were Janelle's first of the season. Colin Kuruppacherry was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Saint Francis Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Riverside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to Bell. The contest marked the Wranglers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Riverside Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haiden Duke, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Riverside Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Saint Francis Catholic, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Saint Francis Catholic has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Riverside Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Saint Francis Catholic's way against Riverside Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Saint Francis Catholic made off with an 11-0 victory.
