Soccer Recap: Fairmont Prep Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Fairmont Prep was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southlands Christian Eagles. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Fairmont Prep couldn't quite close it out.

Fairmont Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Southlands Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fairmont Prep beat the Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.
