Volleyball Recap: Compton Takes a Loss

Compton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Centennial Apaches. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apaches this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 22-25, 25-14.

Compton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Centennial, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Compton will square off against Dominguez at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Compton Early College at 3:15 p.m.
