            Baseball Recap: St. Aloysius Flashes vs. Cathedral Green Wave        
        
		
        
        
            The home team had won the previous two meetings between St. Aloysius and Cathedral, and St. Aloysius kept the tradition alive. The Flashes walked away with  a   14-9  victory over the Green Wave  on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  11-1  victory  on Friday.
 Laken Bradley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in February. He was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of St. Aloysius' success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 7-1 (and 8-9 when he doesn't).
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Keller Bradley, who  scored four  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in February.  Clark Hobson was another key player,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  RBI.
 St. Aloysius was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .387. They are  a perfect 7-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.

St. Aloysius pushed their record up to 15-10 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Cathedral,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-5.
 St. Aloysius does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cathedral, they will face off against Hattiesburg at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
