Basketball Game Preview: Clear Fork Colts vs. Pleasant Spartans

The Clear Fork Colts will challenge the Pleasant Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Clear Fork has given up an average of 53.7 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Clear Fork lost to Ontario on the road by a 67-52 margin. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 504th, while the Warriors are ranked 105th).

Meanwhile, Pleasant suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2025 on Thursday. They took a blow against River Valley, falling 65-30. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Spartans' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

This is the second loss in a row for Clear Fork and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
