Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Center Grove

Hamilton Southeastern faced Center Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Royals fell 2-0 to the Trojans. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Center Grove found their leader in freshman Xavi Pineda, who had 20 digs and three assists.

Hamilton Southeastern has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season. As for Center Grove, their record is now 20-8-1.

Hamilton Southeastern has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Fishers on the 14th. As for Center Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Avon on the 13th.
