Recap: Hobbs Eagles vs. Canyon Eagles
On Friday, Hobbs was the victim of a tough 60-37 loss at the hands of Canyon.
Despite the defeat, Hobbs saw an underclassman step up: Braylon Vega scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Casarez, who scored 6 points.
Hobbs now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Hobbs will be playing at home against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
