Softball Recap: Taravella Takes a Loss

Taravella was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 19-2 to the Stoneman Douglas Eagles. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Taravella now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Stoneman Douglas, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taravella will take on Pompano Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Stoneman Douglas, they will square off against South Plantation at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Paladins have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
